At PIMaCS, we are attempting to share, observe, and study this phenomenon which has seemed to affect millions of women the world over since the start of the 21st Century. We will endeavor to understand this epidemic through theory and conjecture based on the photographic evidence found, as well as defining and cataloging these events so they can be identified.

Self Inflicted Pimacs


A Pimacs, as a result of a self-inflicted photo, seems to be the most severe. It could be argued that due to the camera only being at arms length forces women to press their heads together in order to fit in frame. It does not account for the additional flirtatious expression on both victim's face, however. Instead it either suggests, or reveals, a deeper intimacy between head-bonded women. Could this be friends who harbor a small lesbian fantasy for each other? Could this be sisters subtly suggesting a menage a trios with a person with whom they are mutually interested in?
